Thoughts on topless photos of Kate Middleton: Too bad she has no privacy. I have never lived in Great Britain, but I visited it, and the sun didn’t shine, and Kate probably needed some sun. She was on vacation at a private residence. I’m sorry, Kate, that there are such assholes in the world who would 1) invade your privacy and 2) buy the tabloids that printed the photos. I mean really, for God’s sake. How pathetic is this world still run by men.
Thoughts on Mitt Romney and the notorious 47%: I’m trying hard to like Romney, but he keeps saying dumb things. Not just incorrect things, but things that show me what he thinks of people such as, well, such as my parents, for instance, who are retired and in their 70s and who worked hard all their lives and paid their taxes, paid their mortgage, bought their own groceries, and raised two kids, and now that they collect Social Security and have Medicare as their primary insurance, Mitt includes them in the broad category of Americans who no longer pay Federal Income Tax, and who therefore “are dependent upon government, who believe that they are victims, who believe the government has a responsibility to care for them, who believe that they are entitled to health care, to food, to housing, to you name it. That that’s an entitlement. And the government should give it to them. And they will vote for this president no matter what.”
Mitt!!! Not only have you incorrectly and ignorantly characterized my parents and millions of other retired Americans as lazy and “entitled,” you also got it just WRONG. My dad is actually voting for you!
(Maybe I can get him to write in Ross Perot’s name again this year.)
