Still Hungry

It’s now been 6 weeks and 1 day since I started my weight-loss project. I’ve lost 6 of the 9 pounds that I’d like to get rid of. It’s not any fun at all. I’m not on any formal program, just trying to eat less and exercise more, including weight lifting, which I stopped doing over the summer. The most difficult part, however, has not been being hungry; it’s refraining from buying foods that I love but that I can’t eat just a little of (such as “bite-sized” Dove chocolates that I used to buy and eat MANY bites of once I got started while I was at work, stressed or bored).

Now it is Thanksgiving, the American holiday most famously connected with food and overeating. I’ll do my best. Good luck and happy thanksgiving to you.
